The Merino sheep is a symbol of our history.

Today it is an example of adaptation and sustainability.

The Merino Sheep is one of the first examples of genetic selection towards a specific objective, the fineness of the wool. In this process it was possible to reduce the diameter of the wool fiber and increase the weight of the fleece.. In this way, with the time and work of the ranchers, A resistant and productive breed has been achieved that has been exported to the entire planet.
